No courses are found
Turn on Location, and mobile data or Wi-Fi, then tap Search again. The app searches within 25 km. If your course still isn't listed, use Add a course by hand.
The pars or stroke indexes are wrong
Course details come from OpenStreetMap and club websites, which aren't always complete. Tap ✎ edit on the hole page to fix a hole, or use Find the scorecard on the web in the course details. Past rounds keep their own copy of the holes, so fixing a course doesn't change old cards.
Distances look wrong
Make sure 📍 Follow me is on and Location is set to high accuracy. Phone GPS is usually within about 5 metres, but can drift near trees and buildings. If the hole has no layout, tap the green you're playing to on the map.
Someone can't join the live card
Both phones need Bluetooth and Wi-Fi turned on, and Nearby devices allowed for the app. Keep the phones close together while joining. Live cards work between Android phones only.
A competition or Friends says it couldn't reach the cloud
These features need mobile signal or Wi-Fi. Move to where you have signal and try again. Your own scores are always saved on the phone in the meantime.
The scan didn't read my card
Try again in good, even light with the card flat and filling the picture. You can always add or correct scores by hand before tapping Save round.
Will I lose my scores if the app closes?
No. Every score is saved the moment you enter it. Open Scorecard+ and tap Continue round.
Is the handicap index official?
No. It's an estimate worked out the World Handicap System way, for friendly games. Your club or national association keeps your official handicap.
Are the green fee prices accurate?
They're read from club websites and are approximate. Always check with the club before booking.
Report a problem
Every screen has a ⋮ menu with Report a problem. Describe what happened and the report is saved with recent app logs to Downloads/GolfTracer/reports, ready to send to us. You can also email support@cumbernauldsoftwaresolutions.com.
