Saved on your phone
Scores, players and courses are saved on your phone as you enter them. You don't need an account or an internet connection to keep score.
Copies in Downloads
Tap Save scorecards to Downloads on the Scorecard+ menu, or turn on Copy scorecards to Downloads in Options. Each round is saved in Downloads/GolfTracer/scorecards as:
- a CSV spreadsheet you can open in Excel or Google Sheets, and
- a JSON file with every detail.
To copy them to a computer, connect your phone by USB and open the Download/GolfTracer folder.
Cloud backup
Cloud backup is optional. See Options and cloud backup. Competitions and Friends need it, because they share scores between phones over the internet.
